Stolen Shot from ProActive.ph
After 6 months of not joining run events, I returned happily to this sport.

My first time to wear very short short - It's Adidas clima thing.  My sweat dried  quickly with this.
Here's my observation to this run:
- cheerers along the route, okay
- hydration station, sufficient. My comment: i saw a guy placing ice cubes with bare hands (no gloves), It's the last hydration station to the finish line.
- claiming of Finisher's Kit, okay
- claiming of other freebies like "Adidas Body Care", not good. My comment: there's a long queue to the booth where you can get this freebie, why they did not just include this in Finisher's Kit!

Adidas KOTR 2013 Finisher's Kit (What's inside):
- Adidas Sack
- 1x 100Plus Isotonic Sports drink
- 1x Summit Mineral Drinking water
- 1x Century Tuna - Corned Tuna
- 1x OraCare Mouthwash
- 2x C-Lium 100% Natural Fiber
- 2x Poten-Cee® Forte Tablets
- 2x Pharex® Vitamin E

My comment: With 1,400 peso registration to this run, I can say their competitor Nike beat them. With Nike's 2x dri-fit shirt/no finisher's medal versus Adidas' finisher's medal/just one climalite singlet.

FAILED: RunRio Trilogy: Run United Series 2013 - Leg 2

It's not the race itself that failed, It's my race that FAILED.

Today I experienced the greatest failure in my life. I was not able to come on time to the race because of waiting for my companions to wake up at earliest time. I should not have trusted them in the first place, they're always like this even in my previous run. Yesterday, we were in taxi, on our way to the start line. The race already started and still we're in the taxi waiting like stupid. I conclude to just get back home instead of continuing my race. This is the most regretful decision i made and the most disappointing situation in my life.

At the same time, this is a significant day to me. I learn the importance of trust. Why the hell I'm trusting them when I already know there's issue on their habit. I hope this would serve a lesson from them too, if they feel what happens yesterday and how is it important to me.

For the leg 3, obviously, there's no purpose on continuing it anymore as i already lost the goal of completing the medals. And i think, this run trilogy series is kind of unluck. I got sick before the race of Leg 1 (see un-updated post here: http://human-restoration-project.blogspot.com/2013/03/runrio-trilogy-run-united-2013-leg-1.html). And for this Leg 2, I failed to come on time.

Ostrich Pillow Now Available in the Philippines!

I've been wanting this product since 2012. I was not able to buy it back that time as Studio Banana Things is looking for support yet in KickStarter.com and it's not that widely available. It's only available online, from U.K. and has a costy shipping fee. (check video below about this Ostrich Pillow):

Now, I'm thankful that there's a purpose on why I'm subscribing to these groupon sites! Can't believe my eyes, they're selling Ostrich Pillow in CashCashPinoy.com! (see product link below):

http://www.cashcashpinoy.com/#!/6-home-and-decor/384-ostrich-pillow

As of this writing, the product sales ends in 3 days and 12 hours so I didn't think twice on buying, I bought it today before I forget.

Anyway, I'm just sharing this to my human restoration blog. This would help us humans to restore our body from stressful environment in our office (for some). You know, I'm working at night and my body still looks for the daytime clock so I always got sleepy. This Ostrich Pillow might be helpful to me when I take a nap in my break time. I'll write another review when I received this product by midweek of June 2013.

Thanks!

Breaking News: Bomb Explode in a Marathon Event, Boston - Massachusetts, U.S.

Sad news for all of us marathoners. Today, April 16th 2013, a bomb exploded during a marathon event held in Boston, USA. In the report, two bomb exploded and a reported three people died. Several were injured. According to international news, the bomb explosion is intentional and not caused by a fire incident based from the initial report.

My deepest sympathy and condolences to the victims of this non-sense terrorism.

Hope they would identify the prime cause of such act soon.

Adidas Energy Boost

Below is a teaser video of Adidas Running about their newest shoe that would change your running magnificently:

And below is the show-off video of their new shoes for running. The first thing that came to my mind when I saw it, Is that a Styrofoam?

And this final video shows their announcement about their new shoes:

Adidas Philippines offers reservation for a pair of this shoes at the following URL - http://www.adidasboost.com/. The cost of Adidas Energy Boost is 7,995.00 pesos (Philippines). Very expensive if this shoe will compete with Nike Running shoes.

Final thing I can say, the Styrofoam-like heels doesn't look cool but if it really helps boost running then I'll consider buying this. I'll give my final verdict when my feet gets into those shoes. Going to save my money now :)

Let's discuss. What do you think about Adidas' newest running shoes?
